Hello, I am Nancy Moore and I am excited to be an Assistant Principal here at Waxahachie High School. I will begin my 24th year as an Educator. I have worked for public schools in the West Texas area, the South Texas area, and the Central Texas area before coming to the Dallas area.  Prior to joining the administrative team here at WHS, I was the head volleyball and assistant track coach at Life High School here in Waxahachie. A native of Brownfield, Texas, I graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Mathematics. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education (School Counseling) and Administration Certification at Lamar University. I am the wife of Joe Moore, a food service supervisor for Dallas ISD. I am a firm believer that if you have knowledge pass it on to those who do not and that playing sports as a child not only builds character and confidence but also gives them a sense of accomplishment.

It is my pleasure and privilege to serve the students, teachers, and families of Waxahachie High School as Asst. Principal. I thoroughly enjoy seeing our students in class, on the stage, on the court, and on the field, as I am inspired daily with the abilities and work ethic of our students. Prior to my joining the WHS team, I was Principal at Venus High School and Venus Middle School. I have taught Social Studies and Special Education as well as served as an offensive coordinator and head baseball coach. I am Social Studies, Secondary History, Special Education, PE, Principal, & Superintendent certified. I have been in education for 24 years. Outside of my work life, my wife of 21 years is a middle school principal in Venus ISD. My daughter just graduated from college where she played volleyball and softball and is pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy. My son just graduated high school and will begin college this fall where he will be playing baseball and working toward his BSN (Nursing).

Hello and welcome to Waxahachie High School. My name is Paul Toal and I am honored to be a part of Waxahachie High’s amazing, administrative staff. This will be my 9th year in education. I taught 8th grade Pre-Algebra at Finley Jr. High for six years before moving to the high school. I graduated from Wylie High School in 1995. I worked in various fields of construction for 13 years before realizing that I was meant to be an educator. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas, Arlington. My most amazing accomplishments are my two beautiful daughters. We like to fish, play sports, and enjoy family time. I am truly blessed. I look forward to guiding and protecting the students of WHS. I believe every child has the ability to be great at something and my goal is to help them find out what that is.
