Darin Ford

My name is M. Darin Ford. I am excited to be a College and Career Advisor, NCAA Advisor, and Community Service Coordinator at Waxahachie High School. After graduating from WHS in 1992, I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology.  I furthered my education by obtaining a Master’s degree in counseling from Texas State University shortly after.  I have over 20 years of experience in career counseling, college advising, and mental health interventions at institutions such as the University of Texas at Austin, TCU, UNT, and SMU. My public school career started at Ennis Junior High as an 8th-grade science teacher and then serving as the school counselor at Dorie Miller Intermediate. I look forward to helping all students and staff reach their greatest career potential.
