Waxahachie High School Choir Head Director


Jeremiah Ieppert is the Director of Choral Activities for Waxahachie ISD.  He is a class of 2000 alumnus of Waxahachie High School and received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.  He holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and the principal certification.  Mr. Ieppert currently serves as the WHS Fine Arts Department Chair.


All 13 years as in educator in Waxahachie ISD teaching grades 1-12.  Some of his accolades include WISD “Rookie Teacher of the Year” and Finley Jr. High School “Teacher of the Year”.  Under his direction, the WHS Musical Theatre Department received Dallas Summer Musical’s “Best Musical Direction” award in 2017 for his work on the musical comedy whodunit Curtains.  His professional affiliations include: Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Directors Association and the Texas Music Adjudicators Association.  Mr. Ieppert is married with 2 daughters and resides in Waxahachie.
