Any student graduating from any Waxahachie high school with an active Interact program is eligible for consideration. You do not have to participate in Interact although it is a plus.

Applicant must be a graduating WHS senior who is a descendent of a Turner High School or Oaklawn High School graduate.

Eligibility: have attended 80% of performance with excused absences only, have a B (2.7) or above GPA, have nor been in ISS or have any disciplinary actions, have contributed to the Charmer line in a positive way, completed 30 volunteer hours in the current school year. Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship March 30, 2019

Applicants must be: a childhood cancer survivor under the age of 25 and diagnosed before the age of 18 with cancer or a high grade or anaplastic brain tumor; a citizen of the United States living within the country and attending school in the U.S.; accepted into a post-secondary school in the Fall 2019;

Must be a theatre major at Amarillo College; demonstrate a financial need through completion of the FAFSAl graduate with at least an 80% GPA in high school or 2.75 GPA in higher education; prior theatre experience; complete an audition for Amarillo College; 
2019 oxyGEN Scholarship Program March 31, 2019
Applicant must submit a 3-5 minute video on a STEM topic; must be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year undergrad program with the U.S. for the 2019-2020 year; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident;

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, must be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, see scholarship for more requirements;
 
Neighborhood Credit Union Scholarship March 31, 2019
Applicant must be a high school senior, in good standing, with at least a 3.0 GPA; planning to attend a 2- or 4-year accredited university or college; U.S. citizen or permanent resident; have an account (or be related to a member) at Neighborhood Credit Union;

Applicant must be currently enrolled in WISD as a senior-level student; plan to pursue some for of postsecondary education after graduation; see applicant for more details;

Applicant must be enrolled in WISD for his/her entire junior and senior years; must be planning to pursue a degree in journalism; see application for more details; 
 
Waxahachie Masonic Lodge Lamar Scholarship April 1, 2019
Applicant must be a WHS or Global student graduating in the Class of 2019 and plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2019;
 
Ellis County Aggie Moms Club Scholarship April 1, 2019
The recipient must be a newly accepted freshman or a returning student at Texas A&M University. A minimum of a 2.5 GPA for returning students and a 2.5 on a 4.0 high school scale are required to be considered. 
 
Zane Walker Memorial Optimist Club Scholarship April 1, 2019

Affordable Colleges Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing free higher education tools for current and future college students and their families, recently published research on all the not-for-profit universities and colleges in Texas that offer online college programs. Historically, online programs have only been offered by for-profit institutions. Today, many of the most established not-for-profits state colleges and national universities have launched programs that provide flexibility and lower tuition prices for students. The dataset is unique to our site and is even ahead of the curve compared to other government education data sources such as NCES and IPEDS.

2018-19 Scholarship Notes:
 All Scholarship applications are available online. Students must download information about individual scholarships. Students who do not have access to a computer or printer at home may use computers and printer in the library.

Once you have printed the scholarship application, please check the deadline and where to submit the completed application.

Due to confidential information, all completed applications MUST BE sealed in an envelope with student name and the name of the scholarship on the outside. Students: It is your responsibility to supply the envelopes.

All deadline dates must be met as stated on the application forms. There will be no exceptions.
 
Many scholarships are moving to an online process. If you have a problem accessing the links to any of the above scholarships, please contact the webmaster or report it to the post-secondary advisors above so that we may correct the problem.
